Testimonials

"Stuart has provided me with the inspiration and encouragement to do things I never thought I would be able to achieve in a million years ! I have never been able to run despite numerous attempts and numerous different gym memberships. Since training with Stuart I have progressed from not being able to run to having my first go at the Great North Run 3 years ago. Since then I have kept the running up and done a number of different 5k and 10k races. My next 10k race is coming up in another couple of weeks, I find having something like a race to aim for helps to keep me motivated and gives me something to keep working towards. As well as the running Stuart has helped me with my training in the gym, he keeps amending my routines and giving me different exercises to do, this really helps again with the motivation as it never has a chance to become boring. I also have a lot of exercises I can do at home now with just a few bits of equipment that are cheap to buy and don't take up loads of space so on the days I don't have time for a run or to go to the gym I can do a work out from home. I would fully recommend Stuart to anyone at any level who was thinking about getting a personal trainer. He loves any form of sport or exercise and his enthusiasm is really catching".

"Stuart has educated me as far as my diet is concerned. He has made small changes over a period of time and I now feel more energetic, sleep much better and now participate in some regular exercise. I find that I now make informed decisions on what I eat and drink, still not always the right ones but much better. I have managed to lose 14 lbs and have kept my weight stable for the last 12 months. Savings made at the garage on quick fix foods have more than covered the cost of a few sessions".

"I have never been sporty, through my teens and 20’s I was quite inactive, I smoked and drank too much, once I hit my 30’s I thought better try and get fit now before its too late. I had been trying to become a runner for over a year, I joined a gym, bought fitness magazines and books and searched the internet for tips and training guides.  I went to the gym at least 3 times most weeks, however I was not really getting anywhere with my running, after 12 months I could still only manage 5k in about 45 minutes on a treadmill running and walking and I was beginning to think that running is just not for me, that you were either a natural runner or not. I entered the 5k Race for life, I had read in a fitness magazine entering an event is a good motivator, it was but I was just not improving on my own. Then I was introduced to Stuart through a friend at work, Stuart gave me advice, told me off for not wearing the right footwear and devised a training plan for me.  Within 4 weeks I was running 5k without stopping to walk at all and we increased the distance week by week, I completed the race for life 5k in less than half hour with relative ease and 2 months later completed the London 10k again without stopping.

My fitness is greatly improved, I sleep better, I feel better, I’ve lost weight without dieting and at last I have become a runner and getting more confident all the time.  I could not have done it without Stuart’s guidance and patience and encouragement, its not exaggerating to say that he has changed my life.  I am still running and planning future events with a half marathon in mind and who knows maybe a full marathon at some point in the future, Stuart has taught me that there are no limits to what I can achieve and that everyone and anyone can run with the right coaching".
